The "Summer of Gov" is an open bar happy hour whose purpose is to celebrate two milestones in the history of Government 2.0.

Milestone One:
The creation of Gov 2.0 Club - San Francisco. Government 2.0 Club is a national organization that brings together leading thinkers from government, academia, and industry to share ideas and solutions for leveraging social media tools and Web 2.0 technologies to create a more collaborative, effective, and efficient government - Government 2.0. 

Milestone Two:

GovLoop is celebrating its 1 year anniversary and we need to honor the 14,000+ brilliant GovLoop innovators who are connecting, sharing ideas, and leading change across all levels of government in the U.S. and across the globe.
